Pollution Solutions to be Featured on KPHO TV
Anne Goldfeld, Pollution Solutions Program Director at Resources for Health, received a grant for $5,000 from AZRC to provide educational programs to youngsters promoting the use of reusable shopping bags and recycling of plastic bags at Bag Central Station. After viewing a Powerpoint slide show, each youngster receives a cotton reusable bag to decorate and take home. "We have been presenting at Phoenix Public Libraries and Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC) programs all summer," said Goldfield.
Goldfield's 12-year-old daughter Sammi will be featured on KPHO TV, Channel 5, Wednesday, July 23rd presenting Pollution Solutions to teens at Ironwood Library. The segment will be aired sometime during the evening newscasts at 5:00 and 6:30.
